"All this work"? This is the lazy way. Take your chain off. Take your cassette off and take it apart. Clean them properly and do a proper job if you're going to do it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks. With your help I disassembled my mixer tap and having no silicon based lubricant I just cleaned the gunk off the bits and problem solved (for now)!

09 135i: driver side blinker would not turn off once activated. Driver side headlights and tail lights would stay on indefinitely after vehicle off and key out of ignition. .... Disconnecting the battery overnight was not long enough to reset the ECU. Problem persisted. Left it disconnected for FOUR(4) days to find everything except the passenger window still not syncing up with top of door sill automatically. Otherwise all works correctly as intended. Although no guarantee it's permanently fixed after this only being the first day, but the vehicle was restarted multiple times during various short drives and never encountered the issue again so far. Point being, it can sometimes take multiple days of disconnect to acquire full reset.

That's so weird my tensioning screw is in a different place than that and it seems like that would be hard to tighten the chain with the screw being right there on that little Edge

Totally with you on the problems. There doesn't seem to be many sites on the Net that review these products. Is it worth paying more for some brands rather than another? I don't know. After going through two salt water electrolysers and a two ph probes in a few years I am now manually dosing my pool - and abandoned solar water chlorination entirely. I found that using actual pool sand made for the filter works way better than stealing sand from the grade school playground, I thought I got all those feral cat turds out cause my wife's Shih-Tzu's were full and couldn't eat anymore, now are pool has a Feral-Shih-Cat-Tzu-Piss smell😁
